Job summary

Arendt & Medernach, a leading Luxembourg business law firm, seeks a Junior Lawyer to strengthen the Finance & Capital Markets team. You will advise, draft, and negotiate a wide range of credit-related agreements and work with international clients under partner supervision.

You will join a multicultural, dynamic team collaborating on transaction-related matters with an international dimension and will have opportunities to train junior lawyers and advance within the practice.

Qualifications

Strong academic record in financial law (Master's degree).
Fluency in English, written and spoken. An additional language (French, German or Luxembourgish) is an asset.
Experience in Finance and/or Capital Markets through internships or employment is desirable.
Excellent analytical writing and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Assist and advise on a full range of credit-related agreements.
Collaborate with a multicultural, international team on transaction-related matters.
Advise banks and financial institutions on leveraged, acquisition, real estate, fund and asset finance, and securitisation.
Provide guidance on financial, securities, contract, and insolvency law under supervision.
Participate in meetings with clients and draft opinions and documents; support junior lawyers.
