Arendt & Medernach, Luxembourg's leading independent business law firm, seeks an Experienced Lawyer in Financial & Capital Markets. You will strengthen the Finance & Capital Markets team, advising on a wide spectrum of credit, financial and regulatory matters with an international client base.

You will collaborate with banks and financial institutions on leveraged, real estate, fund and asset finance, as well as enforcement and securitisation projects.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in law (Master 1 or 2), LL.M. preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in capital or financial markets.
• Fluent English; French or German a plus.
• Strong listening skills and analytical rigor.
• Open-minded, dynamic and able to work in a team.

• Collaborate on transaction-related matters with an international dimension within a multicultural team.
• Advise domestic and international banks on leveraged, acquisition, real estate, fund and asset finance, and securitisation operations.
• Advise on financial law, securities law, contract law and insolvency law.
• Attend meetings/conference calls with clients; draft opinions and documents under supervision.
• Assist in mentoring junior lawyers after integration period; organize work and share knowledge.
• Manage files with increasing autonomy and participate in knowledge sharing.

Experienced Lawyer - Financial & Capital Markets

Your role:

You will strengthen the Finance & Capital Markets team and will advise, draw up and negotiate all forms of agreements in a full range of the credit spectrum.

Your tasks will include :

• Collaborating on transaction-related matters with an international dimension while being part of a multicultural and dynamic team ;
• Advising domestic and international banks and financial institutions on leveraged, acquisition, real estate, fund and asset finance as well as in enforcement processes and securitisation operations;
• Advising on financial law, securities law, contract law and insolvency law;
• Taking part in meetings and/or conference calls with clients with a view to discussing their projects; following-up on client requests and draft opinions and documents under the supervision of the partner in charge;
• After an initial integration period, assisting in guiding and training junior lawyers or trainees within the team and more generally, being involved in organising work and facilitating the sharing of knowledge;
• Being involved in knowledge sharing while managing your files with increasing autonomy

Your profile:

• You hold a university degree in law (Master 1 or 2), ideally completed by an LL.M degree in an English speaking country;
• You have gained a minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the fields of capital or financial markets;
• You are fluent in English, and ideally also French or German;
• You have proven listening skills and analytical rigor which enable you to gain the trust of internal and external contact persons;
• You are open-minded, dynamic, flexible, and capable of working in a team in an organized and independent manner.
