AniCura Plantijn & AniCura Randstad is seeking a dedicated leader to head its Emergency Clinic and contribute to teaching the next generation of emergency veterinarians and nurses. The role blends clinical time with teaching across two connected clinics in Berchem and Borsbeek, with hybrid scheduling and a strong focus on quality and teamwork.

The candidate will drive guidelines, uplift medical quality, and mentor interns, with a preference for European Specialists in Emergency and Critical Care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical emergency experience.
• European Veterinary Specialists in Emergency and Critical Care preferred.
• Lead and coordinate emergency clinic operations.
• Teach and train veterinary staff and interns.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Emergency Clinic and develop guidelines to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate teaching and elevate medical quality.
• Mentor veterinary nurses and interns.
• Review hospitalized and emergency patients with the treating vet.
• Organize quarterly face-to-face team meetings with the Clinic Manager.
• Maintain presence during weekend/night shifts to address questions.
• Actively work as an Emergency Veterinarian.
• Participate in interviews for emergency department hires.
• Refine emergency protocols and translate them into training.
