Job summary

TMC is an international high-tech consultancy company that brings expertise to clients for technological challenges. As an Embedded Software Engineer you will develop and maintain real-time software for automotive, energy, medical devices and telecom applications.

You will work with hardware and software engineers to define requirements, implement firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux platforms, and contribute to verification, validation and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in embedded software development.
• Knowledge of C, C++ and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of FreeRTOS, Zephyr is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch & English.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into reliable and efficient code.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define and refine requirements.
• Implement firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux platforms.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues.
• Develop drivers, communication protocols, and device interfaces.
• Contribute to verification, validation, and documentation processes.
