Qualifications

Several years of experience in embedded C programming for real-time systems.

Experience with Vector / ETAS platforms for AUTOSAR‑compliant development.

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Embedded Software Development Engineer to join a high-tech transmission and driveline development program in Belgium. The role focuses on low-level, real-time embedded software for safety-critical automotive systems and involves close collaboration with hardware, electronics, and systems engineering teams.

Job Description

You will design and develop low-level embedded software for next-generation automotive transmission applications, ensuring robust hardware–software integration, high reliability, and ASIL-compliant functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) drivers
Develop and integrate SBC and CAN transceiver MCAL modules or complex device drivers
Document software design and implementation in a clear and structured manner
Collaborate closely with hardware and system engineers
