Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join its automotive division in Brussels. You will work in a highly technical environment, contributing to innovative software solutions for critical systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will specify, design, develop, and test software, participate in AUTOSAR configurations, and help uphold functional safety and cybersecurity standards while producing high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Embedded Software Development.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems.
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration.
• Familiarity with automotive development standards (e.g., ASPICE).
• Good understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, develop, and document software functionalities.
• Develop new software components and maintain existing products.
• Work closely with the Software Verification & Validation (V&V) team to define test specifications and write test cases.
• Collaborate with system and application software teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving software-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and technical solutions.
