Groupe SII Belgium is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software for aerospace systems. You will collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust embedded solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++ and Python skills, RTOS experience, and fluency in French and English. A Master’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Python; RTOS experience.
• Experience with micro-controllers and bare-metal development.
• Fluent in French and English; excellent communication skills.
• Degree: Master’s in CS/EE or related field; aerospace/defense exposure preferred.

SII Belgium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, products, or devices and apply engineering principles and techniques to develop innovative and functional mechanical solutions for our clients mostly in the aerospace & defense sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for aerospace systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure proper system integration
• Participate in code reviews and maintain software documentation
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues

Requirements

• Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems
• Strong knowledge C /C++ language, Python , and practice of one assembly language
• Experience with micro-controllers and development without operating system
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in digital electronic design is a real plus
• Fluent in French and English
• Master's degree in Computer Science with embedded specialty, Electronical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development
