VeroTech is seeking an experienced embedded software developer to join our community where innovation and people come first. You’ll tackle technical challenges and create solutions across several industries.

As a VeroTech consultant, you will develop embedded software for industrial temperature measurement systems, interact with sensors and hardware, and participate in coding, testing and interface reviews to ensure robust applications in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or IT relevant field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on C and C++ development.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M4/M7 and embedded interfaces (SPI, Ethernet, USB).

Responsabilités

• Develop and test embedded software for temperature measurement systems.
• Implement C/C++ code on ARM Cortex targets and review interfaces.
• Collaborate with hardware and engineering teams in a hybrid work setup.
• Maintain code with GIT/Azure DevOps and address security considerations.

About The Role

As a VeroTech consultant, you will contribute to embedded software for industrial temperature measurement systems used in molten metal environments. You will work on software that interacts with sensors, instrumentation and related hardware, helping turn functional requirements into reliable embedded applications.

You will take part in coding, testing and interface review activities, collaborating with technical colleagues to ensure the software fits the measurement system architecture and supports accurate operation in a demanding industrial context.

Key responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for temperature measurement systems
• Implement C code for embedded components and applications
• Test software components to support reliable embedded application behaviour
• Review interface specifications against functional requirements
• Align software interfaces with sensors, instrumentation and associated hardware
• Contribute to the continuous development of embedded applications within a technical engineering team

What we're looking for

We are looking for an embedded software profile with a strong foundation in C programming, embedded platforms and electronics, ready to contribute to industrial measurement technology projects.

• Master’s degree in engineering, applied or industrial sciences, electronics, computer science or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Solid knowledge of software development in C
• Solid knowledge of software development in C++
• Experience with software development on ARM Cortex-M4/M7 platforms
• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as SPI, Ethernet, USB and BLE
• Knowledge of embedded operating systems and a basic understanding of electronics
• Familiarity with GIT and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of C# is a plus
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, especially EN18031-1 or IEC 62443, is a plus
