Médiane Benelux is seeking a seasoned embedded systems engineer to join our project team focused on smart munitions and firing systems. You will specify, design, develop, validate and test embedded hardware and software.

You will create technical documentation, build prototypes, track requirements, and support integration with the IVVQ team while addressing defects across the development lifecycle. A Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on embedded design are

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience designing embedded systems including hardware boards and embedded software.
• Experience with embedded development tools and industry-standard protocols.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• Design and dimension embedded solutions within the system architecture.
• Produce technical documentation: specifications, test plans, traceability matrices.
• Oversee subcontracted tasks and deliverables.
• Participate in integration and validation with the IVVQ team.
• Analyze and resolve defects across the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to design reviews and industrialization discussions.
• Provide technical support during product development phases.
• Define technical scopes (Statement of Work) and support innovation.
• Build prototypes and development boards for concept validation.
• Simulate analog circuits using LTspice.

Job Description

Your Mission

As part of a project or product team focused on smart munitions and firing systems, you will be responsible for the specification, design, development, validation, and testing of embedded electronic solutions – both hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and dimension embedded solutions in line with the overall system architecture and technical constraints.
• Produce technical documentation: specifications, test plans, requirement traceability matrices, etc.
• Oversee and monitor subcontracted tasks and deliverables.
• Actively participate in integration and validation phases in collaboration with the IVVQ team.
• Analyze and resolve defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Take part in design and industrialization reviews.
• Provide technical support during product development phases (internal, client-facing, or supplier-related).
• Contribute to defining technical scopes (Statement of Work) and support continuous innovation.
• Build prototypes and development boards to validate concepts before final integration.
• Simulate analog circuits using tools like LTspice.

Profile / Requirements

Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent through relevant experience.

At least 5 years of experience in designing embedded systems, including electronic boards and embedded software.

Proficient In

• PCB design, FPGA development (VHDL), communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, 1553, ARINC429…).
• Embedded software development: C/C++, RTOS.
• Development tools: Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Jira.
• Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).

Additional Assets

• Knowledge of computer vision, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or drone systems.
• Experience in reverse engineering embedded platforms.
