Médiane Benelux invites an experienced System Engineer to join a team delivering advanced embedded systems for defense projects. You will develop and refine GNC algorithms, perform V&V, and support hardware integration through code generation and HIL rigs.

You will contribute to digital twin models, simulate physical behaviors, and collaborate with Project, Bid, Operations and Quality teams to ensure robust design and calibration processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of math/statistics.
• MATLAB & Simulink knowledge.
• Real-time algorithms and microcontroller constraints understanding.
• Experience with Agile environments.
• Knowledge of sensors, FPGA/VHDL or Model-Based Design appreciated.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/space is a plus.
• Good communication skills.

Job Description

For one of our clients active in the defense sector, we are looking for a System Engineer to support the development and qualification of advanced embedded systems.

Responsibilities

Profile / Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Aeronautics, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics or equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of mathematics and statistics
• Good knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink
• Understanding of real-time algorithms and microcontroller constraints
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python is an asset
• Experience with Agile environments
• Knowledge of sensors, FPGA/VHDL or Model-Based Design is appreciated
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive or space is a plus
• Knowledge of DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO 26262 is an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics clearly
