Verhaert Consulting is seeking a Cyber Security Architect for next-generation embedded and automotive systems. You will own the cybersecurity architecture for embedded platforms, aligning security concepts with hardware, cryptography and system engineering across multidisciplinary teams.

The role covers project lifecycle from concept to decommissioning, risk analyses, verification, and compliance with ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 24089, IEC 62443, AUTOSAR, and OEM specs.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field; cybersecurity degree or certs is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and automotive security.
• Hands-on experience with embedded software development and hardware security concepts.
• Experience with security standards (ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 24089, IEC 62443, AUTOSAR).

Responsabilités

• Provide high-level technical cybersecurity guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Lead cybersecurity work products (e.g., threat analysis, cybersecurity concept).
• Own cybersecurity requirements across the project lifecycle from concept to decommissioning.
• Conduct security testing and validation, including penetration testing.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and security bugs in embedded systems and low-level software.
• Perform risk analyses related to product security across development and supply chain.
• Innovate state-of-the-art cybersecurity approaches and improve processes.
