Our client, a well-established organisation working at the forefront of advanced aerospace technologies is looking for an experienced Electronics Systems Engineer to support the delivery of high-reliability electronic systems on a 12-month contract.

Location: Belgium
Length: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

You'll take technical ownership of the electronic aspects of space system/subsystem development throughout the full project life cycle. This will include:

  • Derive detailed hardware specifications from high-level system requirements and translate them into robust electronic design architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring consistency in implementation and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Oversee the integration of electronic subsystems, maintaining trace-ability of requirements and ensuring alignment with project constraints including cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Perform in-depth design reviews, focusing on schematic integrity, component selection, and compliance with reliability and environmental standards.
  • Lead verification and validation activities, including functional and performance testing of electronic assemblies, culminating in structured documentation and formal system delivery.
Ideal Profile
  • Master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 year's experience working in complex, technical environments.
  • Deep familiarity with electronic components, design work flows and development life cycles.
  • Proven ability to shape and define electronic architectures at both concept and system integration levels.
  • Familiarity with space-grade components or other high-reliability sectors (e.g. aerospace, defence, medical devices) is a plus.

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension and candidates must be eligible under ITAR regulations.
