g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to lead the design, validation, and industrialisation of electronic hardware for connected mobility products. This role focuses on connectivity systems and sensor integration, while contributing to powertrain-related hardware development.

You will design analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems, oversee EMC/certification activities, coordinate with suppliers, and validate hardware through lab testing and field trials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in electronic hardware design.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design knowledge.
• Experience with BLDC motor control and battery management systems.
• Familiarity with BLE, LTE-M, GNSS, cellular comms, and wireless charging.
• Experience producing schematics and complex PCB layouts (BGA/LGA).
• Understanding antenna design in constrained environments.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar tools.
• Hands-on hardware prototyping, assembly, debugging, and validation.
• Experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers).
• Knowledge of EMC, RED, CE certifications.

Responsabilités

• Debug and troubleshoot prototypes, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with firmware and multidisciplinary engineering teams on hardware/software integration.
• Maintain technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and engineering change records.
• Contribute to the implementation and integration of powertrain systems, including BMS, BLDC motors, motor controllers, and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, antenna integration, and design reviews.
• Lead EMC, CE, RED, and related certification activities, coordinating with test labs and external partners.
• Support and oversee outsourced hardware development with international suppliers.
• Validate hardware through laboratory testing, integration, environmental testing, reliability assessments, and field trials.
• Debug and troubleshoot prototypes, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with firmware and multidisciplinary engineering teams on hardware/software integration.

• Proven experience producing schematics and complex PCB layouts (including BGA/LGA packages).
• Understanding of antenna design and placement within constrained environments.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
• Hands'on hardware prototyping, assembly, debugging, and validation experience.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and network analysers.
• Knowledge of EMC, RED, CE, and related certification processes.
• Strong problem'solving skills and the ability to work independently in cross-functional teams.
