ScioTeq Ltd in Kortrijk, Belgium, is seeking an electronics engineer for avionics hardware R&D. You will develop mixed analog and digital electronics including embedded designs for cockpit displays and visualisation systems.

You cover all development phases from concept to delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality and safety, and you report to the R&D Manager Hardware. A Master in electronics/engineering is required, with DO-254 experience and teamwork in English.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in electronics or engineering.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and electronic design.
• Quality oriented with DO-254 processes for aerospace delivery.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Develop mixed analog and digital electronics including embedded electronics design.

As a member of the Avionics Hardware R&D team, you will contribute to the development of display and computer systems, which are integrated in the cockpit of aircraft and helicopters. Electronics is an important element in the operation of the system, for which correctness and safety are the highest priorities.

For our customers in the Aviation industry (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Comac, ...) we develop and produce in Kortrijk the next generation Cockpits with Visualisation and Human Interface Solutions: Smart Displays, Video displays, Touchscreens, ...

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the development of mixed analog and digital electronics including embedded electronics design.

• You cover all phases of the development: from requirements definition to product delivery including concept, design, analysis and test. Accuracy, quality and safety are the main objectives in your development work.

• You work intensely together with other members of the project team to realize the product.

• You will report to the R&D Manager Hardware.

Profile

• You hold a Master's degree in electronics or engineering.

• You have knowledge of and experience with embedded systems, electronic design.

• You are quality oriented: we follow development processes (DO- 254) which enables us to deliver to the aerospace industry worldwide.

• You are a teamplayer.

• You are fluent in English.
