Fluxys Belgium's Grid Department is seeking an Electromechanical Technician (m/f/x) for our field office in Grâce-Hollogne to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of pressure-reducing stations. After training, you will perform repairs, record operating data, and contribute to safety for facilities and employees.

You should hold a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics, be fluent in French with basic Dutch and English, and be willing to be on call and on standby.

The Grid Department is responsible for managing Fluxys Belgium's transmission system, ensuring the supply of gas to end users at all times and guaranteeing the safety of facilities, the environment and employees. More specifically, the department's work encompasses the inspection, operation and maintenance of the pipeline network and associated facilities, such as valve junctions and pressure-reducing stations. The Grid Department is divided into five geographical areas, with a central entity providing technical and administrative support.

For our field office located in Grâce-Hollogne we’re looking for a Electromechanical Technician (m/f/x).

Your responsibilities

• After undergoing intensive training, where you will learn about the entire network and the facilities in the area, you will join the team responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our pressure-reducing stations
• You will carry out repairs and maintenance work on these stations and will draw up the appropriate reports
• You will record the operating data concerning our facilities
• You will ensure the safety of our facilities and employees

About you

• You have a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent
• You have experience in the maintenance of technical facilities
• You have dynamism and a keen desire to learn
• You have an ability to work independently, combined with a disciplined and technical mind
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• You are fluent in French and have a basic knowledge of Dutch and English

This position also requires the following:

• You are willing to be on call and on standby
• You live within 30 minutes of our Grâce-Hollogne office
• You have a category B driving licence
