agap2 Belgium is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects from design to commissioning. You will ensure compliance with safety and technical standards while meeting deadlines and budgets.

You will collaborate with mechanical, automation, construction and utilities teams, prepare tender documents, evaluate bids and support subcontractor selection, and act as the technical point of contact for clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• First experience in electrical design or project engineering.
• Solid knowledge of low voltage, power distribution, instrumentation and control systems.

• Participate in feasibility studies and define project scopes and requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, automation, construction, utilities).

• Conduct technical analyses, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with standards (AREI/RGIE, IEC).
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables.
• Provide technical support during FAT/SAT, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you manage and support the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects — from design and planning to execution and commissioning. You ensure that electrical systems meet technical requirements, safety standards, deadlines, and budget expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and review electrical designs, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Participate in feasibility studies and define project scopes and requirements.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• First experience in electrical design, project engineering, or industrial installations.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems: low voltage, power distribution, instrumentation, control systems.
• Be adaptable, autonomous, and proactive to meet the diverse challenges of our missions.
• Ensure clear communication and effective collaboration with all stakeholders.

Depending on project needs, one of the following profiles is required:

• French + English (full professional proficiency)
• Dutch + English (full professional proficiency)
