Job summary

Engibex in Belgium seeks a Technical Designer Secondary Systems to design and realize electrical installations using AutoCAD, collaborating with project engineers and technicians throughout study and construction phases.

You will coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, ensure quality control, and develop expertise in electromechanical design. Dutch proficiency is required, with readiness to learn the second language and strong planning and communication skills desired.

Qualifications

• You have a qualification in a relevant technical field (e.g., electricity, electromechanics, automation or engineering).
• You are interested in design activities and familiar with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.
• You are a team player with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• You have an eye for detail, work accurately and have strong planning and organisational skills.
• You have a strong motivation to develop further and gain expertise in your field.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and are willing to learn the other language.

Responsibilities

• Carry out studies to adapt standard drawings based on the project note, using AutoCAD, and ensure quality control.
• Discuss and solve problems with the project engineer and send drawings to appropriate departments.
• Maintain close contact with internal and external stakeholders during cubicle construction to rapidly resolve issues.
• Be in close contact with the contractor during construction and with technicians during commissioning to solve issues.
• Find solutions to secondary systems problems on site in consultation with the project leader and technicians.
