Job summary

Ball Corporation in Genk, BE, seeks an Electrical & Auxillary Supervisor to lead a maintenance-focused team on site. You will manage life‑cycle maintenance, improve equipment reliability, and drive safety and regulatory compliance across the plant.

You will oversee electrical resources and support equipment, coordinate with contractors, and implement proactive improvements to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment with focus on electrical, mechanical or maintenance roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical and mechanical domains.
• Knowledge of plant electrical systems, control systems, and auxiliary equipment.

Responsibilities

Position overview:

An Electrical & Auxillary Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of electrical and maintenance shop team members, managing the life cycle of all supportequipment and electrical resources, including execution of maintenance, process improvement and contracting with outside services. This role ensures the reliableand efficient operation of all electrical systems and support equipment within the plant. This role leads a team of electricians and maintenance specialists thatfocuses on maximizing production throughput, minimizing downtime, and sustaining high equipment availability by leading maintenance activities, troubleshootingelectrical and mechanical issues, and implementing proactive improvement strategies. The supervisor drives operational excellence while ensuring safety,compliance, and optimal resource utilization across the plant.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain all electrical systems and auxiliary equipment to ensure high uptime, production throughput, and minimal downtime
• Lead, coach, and develop electricians and maintenance specialists, ensuring a skilled, high-performing team
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and food safety standards
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Rapidly diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems to minimize production interruptions
• Manage personnel, tools, materials, and external contractors effectively to meet operational goals
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, SOPs, and performance metrics
• Drive continuous improvement, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and alignment with plant objectives

What are we looking for?

• Technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, support equipment, conveyance systems
• Job related experience in an industrial environment with the focus on electrical, mechanical or maintenance role
• Working knowledge of automation & controls
• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues
• Strong knowledge of plant electrical systems, auxiliary equipment, controls, and associated mechanical systems
• Problem solving, trouble shooting and process improvement skills
• Project management support for plant capital improvements, line speed alterations, conveyance changes and safety iniatives
• Comfortable communication in written and spoken English
• Leads, coaches, and develops a high-performing maintenance and electrical team

Work Environment:

This role requires on-site presence at ourGenkplant.

Hiring Range:

60,750– 87,480 EURgross per year.The finalsalarywillbedeterminedbasedonanyapplicablecollectivebargainingagreement’sminimumsalary,thecandidate’seducation,experience,knowledge,skills,abilities, aswellasinternalequityandmarketbenchmarks.

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and marketbenchmarks. Depending on these factors, the actual offer may fall above or below the posted range.

This position is eligible to participate in Ball’s annual incentive compensation program.
