Now Hiring: Pediatric Physical Therapist

Join Our Growing Therapy Team in Lutz, FL!

The Milestone Mentor is a specialized clinic in Lutz, FL dedicated to helping infants, children, and families by providing a hands-on, holistic approach to support optimal development and family-centered care. We specialize in helping clients overcome tension-related difficulties, tethered oral tissue release, torticollis, head shape, gross motor delays, and more.

We also offer craniosacral fascia therapy (CFT) to ALL ages!

Position Overview:

The Milestone Mentor is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion for hands-on therapy and early childhood development. We are looking for a qualified professional who is enthusiastic about working with children, values a family-centered style, enjoys a collaborative approach with other professionals, and has a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have experience treating infants and young children and be skilled in manual therapy, bodywork, or other hands-on techniques.

This position offers a flexible schedule and has strong potential to grow into a full-time caseload quickly based on demand. Candidates must be local to our Lutz, FL clinic, but we will also consider a mobile-based therapist to serve specific parts of the Tampa Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled therapy services to pediatric patients, with a focus on newborns, infants, and toddlers.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of appropriate pediatric diagnoses.
• Establish individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner.
• Use hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, myofascial release, or other bodywork modalities.
• Educate families and caregivers on home exercises and developmental support.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Ability to navigate technology (documentation, video conference, email, etc).
• Self-starter and independent worker.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Required: Pediatric experience (1+ years preferred).
• Preferred: Experience in manual therapy techniques such as Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, or other bodywork.
• Active Florida PT, PTA, or OT license.
• Proof of professional liability insurance upon start date (required).
• Passion for working with infants and young children.
• Strong verbal/written communication and teamwork skills.
• Mobile-based therapist applicants serving Tampa Bay will be considered.
• Part-time to start, with expected growth to full-time, if desired.

Pay range: $45.00/hr - $60.00/hr, dependent on experience, proficiency, etc.
