Job Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the operative management and administrative functions of the pension fund, fulfilled by senior employees and third-party providers. This executive role ensures the organisation's investment, budget management, risk management and customer service strategies are implemented effectively and in line with fiduciary and regulatory responsibilities. The COO will collaborate closely with senior managers of RESAVER, members of the Daily Management Committee and the Board of Directors to drive operational excellence, compliance and long-term financial sustainability.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of senior operational experience, ideally in pensions, financial services or institutional asset management.
• Deep knowledge of pension fund structures, compliance frameworks, and financial operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, regulated environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English which is the primary language of communication at RESAVER.
Communication:
• Exceptional communication skills, e.g.ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels; ability to convey complex and detailed conceptual ideas; ability to explain, negotiate and persuade.
• Excellent written communication skills, e.g. ability to draft effective reports, committee papers, planning and policy documents.
