Role Overview

We’re looking for a proven Sales Director, OTC & Institutional Clients to lead our business development efforts across the UAE and broader MENA region. This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on acquiring and managing high-value OTC and institutional relationships, including HNWIs, family offices, prop trading firms, and crypto-native institutions. You’ll be responsible for driving AUM, trade volume, and strategic relationships for BurjX’s OTC desk and private client division.

This role is based in the UAE, and applicants must already reside here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, pitch, and close new OTC and institutional clients across MENA, with a focus on HNWIs, family offices, and funds
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for VIP clients, delivering white-glove service and tailored execution
  • Drive revenue and trading volume growth through strategic deal-making and long-term relationship-building
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities via proactive outreach, events, referrals, and targeted campaigns
  • Represent BurjX at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events to grow brand presence and network
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, operations, and product to ensure smooth onboarding and client success
  • Provide feedback on market trends and client needs to help shape product and go-to-market strategy

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in institutional sales, OTC trading, or private client advisory (crypto, fintech, or financial markets)
  • Strong track record of closing high-value deals and managing key client relationships
  • Solid understanding of digital assets, custody infrastructure, and OTC execution models
  • Deep network across the GCC’s HNWI, family office, and crypto trading communities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of autonomy, and thrives in a startup environment
  • Based in the UAE and fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
