Job Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of desktop hardware, software, and related technologies.

The role ensures the smooth operation of IT services by responding to incidents, deploying devices, supporting office moves, and assisting with infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair desktop hardware and software
  • Support end-users with daily technology needs and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Assist with audio-visual (AV) hardware setup and operation as required
  • Determine appropriate hardware and software solutions based on standards and user needs
  • Respond to incidents within SLA timeframes with appropriate urgency
  • Handle office moves involving disconnecting, relocating, and reconnecting desktop equipment
  • Deploy and upgrade desktop devices using imaging tools such as SCCM
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure components
  • Support telephony systems (installation, troubleshooting, maintenance)
  • Log, track, and document support activities using the incident management system
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of hardware and software assets
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in desktop support or similar IT support roles
  • Experience with desktop imaging and deployment tools, especially SCCM
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop applications
  • Experience with incident management systems and ITSM tools
  • Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and telephony systems
  • Strong communication skills
