Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an E&I Engineer to contribute to the design, development and implementation of electrical and instrumentation installations across infrastructure sectors. You will take technical responsibility and translate concepts into clear designs, documentation and plans, collaborating with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

The role covers energy, water, utilities, transport and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as E&I Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Solid understanding of electrical installations, instrumentation, and/or automation systems.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear designs, specifications and practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for electrical and instrumentation activities within multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Develop technical concepts and translate them into designs, diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Design and coordinate electrical installations, instrumentation systems and related equipment.
• Coordinate projects from study/design through tendering, execution, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, tender documents, cost estimates and project schedules.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and safety requirements.

• Take technical responsibility for electrical and instrumentation activities within multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Develop technical concepts and translate them into designs, diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Design and coordinate electrical installations, instrumentation systems, and related technical equipment.
• Contribute to projects across sectors such as energy, water, utilities, transport infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
• Coordinate projects from the study and design phases through tendering, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, tender documents, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Monitor project execution, ensuring compliance with scope, deadlines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Review technical proposals and support tendering processes and contractor selection.
• Ensure that designs and installations comply with applicable standards, regulations, and technical requirements.
• Identify technical risks and contribute to practical, sustainable, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• You have relevant experience as an E&I Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
• You have a solid understanding of electrical installations, industrial instrumentation, and/or automation systems.
• You are interested in infrastructure projects within sectors such as energy, water, utilities, transport, or industrial facilities.
• You are familiar with technical studies, engineering design processes, tender documentation, and project follow-up.
• You can translate technical requirements into clear designs, specifications, and practical solutions.
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality, safety, and technical compliance.
• You communicate effectively in Dutch and English.
• You are comfortable working independently and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• You demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset.
