ChristianaCare Pharmacy is seeking a Drug Diversion Specialist Pharmacist to lead the organization’s diversion prevention, detection, and response program.

You will coordinate education, audits, investigations, reporting, and regulatory compliance across the health system, collaborating with Pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams.

This role requires PharmD, PGY1 and PGY2 residencies and active Delaware licensure; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency required or equivalent experience (3 years acute care)
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 Pharmacy Residency required or equivalent experience in drug diversion
• Board Certification preferred
• Drug Diversion certification required within 24 months of hire
• Current pharmacist licensure in the State of Delaware, or eligibility for reciprocity

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive drug diversion program across the organization.
• Establish and maintain an effective drug diversion education program for caregivers.
• Provide expertise and participate in multidisciplinary education related to drug diversion prevention and accountability.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive audit and surveillance program; identify trends and elevate findings.
• Utilize drug diversion monitoring software and collaborate with analysts to optimize reporting metrics.
• Review and lead investigations related to suspected drug diversion incidents.
• Collect, analyze, and track diversion data across the organization.
• Maintain an accurate drug diversion database.
• Coordinate investigations with the Controlled Substances Accountability Team.
• Develop and maintain policies related to controlled substance handling and reporting.
• Prepare and present diversion monitoring reports to leadership.
