Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The Director of HCC Data Management & Technology Operations is a strategic leadership role within the global Health Care Compliance (HCC) organization. This position provides global oversight and strategic direction for compliance data management and technology initiatives, enabling the effective execution of the company’s compliance framework and program worldwide. The Director drives innovation in compliance systems and analytics, ensuring that quality data, advanced analytics, and modern technology solutions support critical compliance activities such as global transparency reporting, anti-corruption monitoring (e.g. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act FCPA), third-party risk management, and other key compliance processes. As a senior member of the HCC leadership team, this role has a broad global scope, requiring close collaboration across regions and functions to maintain consistent, efficient, and proactive compliance program operations. The Director’s work is pivotal to strengthening the compliance program’s data-driven insights, enhancing risk detection capabilities, and embedding compliance controls into enterprise systems from a “compliance by design” perspective.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree.
Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics‑related).
Minimum 10-12+ years experience
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive compliant decision‑making in highly regulated environments.
Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex compliance topics clearly.
Preferred: Experience in Information Technology, Healthcare Compliance, Finance Regulatory, or Quality industry.
Familiarity with information management systems and applications for data mining & analysis preferred.
Track record of successful innovation to streamline business operations, including process design and implementation preferred.
Process excellence training and certification preferred.
Project Management certification preferred.
Fluency in English required
Up to 20–30%
Compliance, legal, or ethics certifications preferred but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €119,200.00 - €204,355.00
