European Defence Agency in Brussels seeks a Director RTI to lead the Research, Technology and Innovation Directorate. You will set strategic priorities, manage budgets and coordinate EU-funded defence research activities, CapTechs, and the HEDI hub, ensuring coherence with capability development and defence priorities across member states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven managerial experience with multinational and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of European institutions, EU programmes and policies.
• Experience in defence and international environment.
• Ability to provide strategic advice to senior management.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsabilités

• Translate strategy into a clear Directorate vision and deliverables.
• Provide strategic leadership for RTI activities and programmes.
• Lead defence research, technology and innovation addressing EU priorities.
