Job summary

RP One seeks a DevOps/Platform Engineer to move software from idea to production, designing, automating and maintaining the infrastructure and tooling behind our R&D teams and international customers.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure) with IaC, monitor performance, and promote best practices in trunk-based development and reusable components. Flexibility includes work-from-home options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven DevOps/Platform/CI/Software Engineer experience.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting for builds, pipelines, infra.
• Advanced Git usage including branching and rebasing.
• Strong Python for automation.
• Solid CI/CD architecture experience (Jenkins/Groovy or similar).

Job description

As a DevOps/Platform Engineer, you make sure software moves smoothly, reliably and securely from idea to production. You design, automate and maintain the infrastructure and tooling behind our R&D teams and our international customers.

You'll work in a fast-changing environment, where you turn engineering needs into robust, automation-first solutions and continuously improve the developer experience.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development tooling that keep builds reproducible and releases predictable
• Set up and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure) through Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform, Ansible and GitOps
• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain infrastructure to keep it stable and performant
• Eliminate manual steps through automation
• Safeguard quality gates, traceability and release processes
• Promote best practices such as trunk-based development and reusable pipeline components
• Modernise legacy components into scalable, cloud-native solutions
• Support colleagues and customers, and share your knowledge across teams

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a DevOps, CI, Platform or Software Engineer
• Strong Linux expertise and confidence troubleshooting build, pipeline and infrastructure issues
• Advanced Git knowledge, including branching, rebasing and repository management
• Strong Python skills, with a focus on maintainable automation code
• Solid understanding of CI/CD architecture and pipeline design (e.g. Jenkins with Groovy, or equivalent)
• Experience with Docker and reproducible, container-based toolchains
• Experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably Azure (AWS, OCI or others are also valuable)
• An analytical, proactive and curious mindset
• Strong communication skills: you can explain infrastructure topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent English; any other language is a plus
