HumanInTech is seeking a DevOps-support specialist to reinforce the IT team's DevOps capacity in Brussels. You will collaborate with the in-house DevOps engineer, advise on tasks, and assist with migrations while maintaining security and contributing to web application projects.

What you will do

You will join the IT team of a public-sector organisation to reinforce their DevOps capacity. Working closely with the in-house DevOps engineer, you will:

• Assist and advise on various DevOps tasks and projects
• Support Linux server migrations and guide developers through the process
• Ensure the security of application platforms
• Contribute to web application projects
• Perform maintenance and updates on virtual machines
• Act as backup for the in-house DevOps engineer, working autonomously when needed (with support from the team lead)
• Advise on improvements and best practices in security

The assignment begins with an onboarding period of approximately five days to familiarise yourself with the infrastructure. You will then move on to reinforcing the team in updates and maintenance tasks.

The setting
