Job summary

MEERAB GROUP in Brussels seeks a DevOps Engineer fluent in French or Dutch to join our Azure-focused team. You will design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure, container platforms, and supporting development teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

You will implement Terraform IaC, manage AKS clusters with Helm, configure security and networking, and build monitoring with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Log Analytics. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (AKS, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management).
• Proficient in Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and YAML/JSON configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage AKS clusters, Helm charts, and GitOps workflows.
• Configure cloud networking, security, access control, and certificates.
• Develop monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with dev teams to resolve deployment issues and incident analysis.
• Produce up-to-date technical documentation and coach colleagues.

Job description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer fluent in French or Dutch to join our team in Brussels. The role focuses on Azure cloud infrastructure, automation, and container platforms, supporting development teams in a fast‑paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Manage and support Kubernetes (AKS) clusters, Helm charts, and GitOps workflows.
• Configure and maintain cloud networking, security components, access control, and certificates.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Log Analytics.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve deployment and infrastructure issues, and contribute to incident analysis.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation, run knowledge‑transfer sessions, and coach colleagues.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (AKS, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, networking, security).
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and configuration formats (YAML, JSON).
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana) and security practices (RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, PIM).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with Jira.

• Azure certifications such as AZ‑400 or AZ‑104.
• CKA or CKAD certification.
• Background in regulated or government environments.
• Experience with GitOps tooling (e.g., Flux) and coaching/mentoring colleagues.
