Sopra Steria Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Brussels who will serve as a bridge between infrastructure and development. You will guide customers through the DevOps process in both cloud-native and traditional settings, requiring strong collaboration with various IT professionals.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as an Automation or DevOps Engineer.
• Knowledge in ITIL processes.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, French is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Stay updated with the latest technologies in Cloud and CNCF landscape.

Job Description

Do you hate repetitive tasks that can be automated? Do you love the challenge to try and automate the “impossible” or the deploy of cloud –and cloud-native infrastructure to multiple customers all at once? We are looking for IT specialists that are always seeking to automate and always think one step ahead.

As a DevOps engineer, you form the bridge between infrastructure and development. You guide and advise your customers in end-to-end using the DevOps process both in cloud native/hybrid and traditional architectures. You understand the needs of the customer and work together with various IT profiles such as software engineers, architects, solution analysts, and system engineers. You think on a technical and strategic level and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in Cloud, CNCF landscape and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as an Automation or DevOps Engineer
• Familiar with one of these cloud platforms: Azure / AWS
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and conceptual knowledge of how they work
• Knowledge in at least one scripting tool: Bash, PowerShell, …
• Experience with container concepts: Docker, Kubernetes/Openshift, …
• General network knowledge
• IAC tooling: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
• ITIL processes
• Fluent in English and Dutch, French is an asset
