Akkodis is seeking a Development Analyst in Belgium to lead physico-chemical method development for Biologicals products from early clinical phases to commercial. You will work with LC and capillary electrophoresis techniques to develop and validate analytical methods.

You will autonomously manage daily lab activities, contribute to release/testing, and author procedures and reports while ensuring GLP/GMP compliance and strong English communication within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in biochemistry or analytical chemistry.
• Proven expertise preferably in biotech industry.
• Strong laboratory skills and good knowledge of protein chemistry.
• Experience with analytical techniques: chromatography or electrophoresis.
• Expertise in analytical method development and validation.
• Autonomy in day-to-day work and ability to write/ review procedures.
• Knowledge of GLP/GMP is a plus and English reports are recommended.

What are your responsibilities?

As a Development Analyst, you will provide scientific expertise to contribute to manage physico-chemical method development activities for Biologicals Products from early clinical phases to commercial.

The main techniques used are Liquid chromatography (Size-exclusion, Reverse-phase, affinity, Ion exchange, HILIC or HIC) or electrophoresis capillary (CGE; CzE, iCE or MauriCE).

• Autonomously manage and perform daily laboratory activities related to method development, validation, transfers.
• Contribute to release and stability testing related to the project as appropriate.
• Prepare and review/approve documentation (procedures, protocols, reports).
• Analyze results.
• Present/discuss results in project team meetings.

What skills do you bring to the table?

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in biochemistry or in analytical chemistry
• Proven expertise preferably in the biotech industry
• Strong and proven laboratory skills
• Good knowledge of protein chemistry
• A good practical experience and expertise in at least one of the analytical techniques used in the laboratory: chromatography (Size-exclusion, Reverse-phase, affinity, Ion exchange, HILIC or HIC) or electrophoresis capillary (CGE, CzE, iCE or MauriCE)
• Expertise in analytical method development and validation
• Autonomy in the day-to-day work.
• Ability to author and review comprehensive and accurate procedures, protocols, and reports.
• A good knowledge of GLP/GMP rules is a plus.
• A good level of English is recommended for reports and oral communication.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and/or prioritization.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain good working relationships within the team and with internal/external customers/partners.
• Ability to work in a matrix and customer-oriented environment.
