CDH Professionals is seeking an experienced Freelance DevOps Engineer for Brussels on a 12-month contract.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with Terraform, manage Kubernetes and Docker, and deploy cloud resources on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring performance and reliability while collaborating with development teams. The role requires hands-on scripting in Bash or Python, and strong written and spoken English. Fluency in French or Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Linux.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting in Bash or Python.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch an advantage.
• Contract: Freelance; Duration: 12 months; Start ASAP.

Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance DevOps Engineer to join a leading client in Brussels on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Manage and support Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise platform performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and DevOps practices.

Requirements
