Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking a Design System Engineer with strong expertise in electric machine systems, power electronics, controls and mechatronic engineering. You will define requirements, contribute to architecture and work across hardware, software and validation teams to ensure robust system performance.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, hands-on automotive/mechatronic experience and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience in system engineering within automotive/mechatronic environments.
• Strong knowledge of electric machines, power electronics and control systems.
• Experience in signal processing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop system requirements for mechatronic automotive applications.
• Contribute to the design and integration of electric machine systems, power electronics and control systems.
• Analyze system behaviour, interfaces and functional interactions.
• Perform signal and data analysis to support development and validation.
• Translate customer and product requirements into technical specifications.
• Support system architecture definition and design decisions.
• Coordinate with hardware, software, controls, testing and validation teams.
• Identify technical risks and potential design improvements.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during development and testing.
• Ensure system performance, robustness and project compliance.

• You are experienced in signal processing, data analysis, and system performance evaluation;
• You are comfortable working with complex multidisciplinary systems;
• You have a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving;
• You are able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• You have a professional level of English
