Lonza is seeking a Deputy Treasurer in Bornem, Belgium, to lead the CHI Treasury organization’s cash, liquidity, and risk management. This hybrid role partners with the Treasurer to define strategy and drive transformation across global treasury operations.

The successful candidate will optimize capital, manage banking relationships, and implement governance that supports the business through its transition to independent ownership, delivering value and resilience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in corporate treasury within a multinational.
• Deep knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, and funding.
• Strong understanding of treasury controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Treasurer to deliver the global treasury strategy and governance.
• Lead liquidity management, cash forecasting, and intercompany funding.
• Manage banking relationships and treasury technology platforms.
• Oversee FX, interest rate, and liquidity risk management with hedging.
• Maintain treasury policies and compliance for audit readiness.
• Provide strategic guidance to support business growth and resilience.
