MEO group in Brussels is seeking a data-driven Demand Planner to join our FMCG team. You will design and optimize digital tools for S&OP, align forecast with business goals, and own tooling from Excel to Power BI.

The role requires at least 2 years in Demand Planning or S&OP, strong analytical skills, and English fluency; French/Dutch is a plus. You will collaborate across Supply, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Develop baseline forecasts using historical data and market trends.

The Role

In this position, you will play a central role in aligning demand forecasting with business objectives. Beyond standard demand planning, you will take ownership of designing, building, and optimizing digital tools and models that streamline our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting: Develop baseline statistical forecasts using historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs from sales and marketing teams.
• S&OP Process Ownership: Facilitate and enhance the S&OP cycle, ensuring aligned alignment between Supply, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Tooling & Analytics: Design, implement, and maintain demand planning and S&OP tracking tools (e.g., Excel/VBA, Power BI, Python, or specialized planning software).
• Inventory & Service Optimization: Monitor forecast accuracy, track KPIs (MAPE, BIAS), and continuously identify opportunities to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the main bridge between supply chain operations and business stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory requirements.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or S&OP coordination within the FMCG sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and tool development (Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, ERP/APS systems like SAP, O9, Anaplan, or similar).
• Mindset: Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process automation, data visualization, and continuous improvement.
• Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a strong plus.
