Capgemini Engineering in Belgium is seeking a Methods Engineer to optimise manufacturing and assembly processes for defence sector products. You will ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency on production lines and lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, production, and quality teams.

The role requires an engineering degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong analytical skills and an ability to train operators and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with 5+ years in a similar role.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, or regulated industries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; able to work autonomously with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and formalise production line procedures and standards.
• Create manufacturing files and MBOMs; write technical specs.
• Support pre-series production and supplier qualification.
• Identify improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Train and supervise operators; manage accreditations.
• Conduct start-up audits and write supplier purchasing specs.
• Monitor tooling and support suppliers; drive continuous improvement.
