Keystone Solutions is seeking a Database Architect for a client-site consultancy mission in Belgium. You will lead database management, support development teams, and drive modernization by migrating critical databases to Oracle 26ai.

Responsibilities include administering production and non-production databases, implementing secure access, disaster recovery, and NIS2 compliance. 2 days per week on-site at the client is required.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDMS, DataGuard, RMAN.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, RDS.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Knowledge of MS-SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Apache, and Tomcat is a plus.
• Practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with colleagues.

Mission Overview

Join Keystone Solutions as a Database Architect on a consultancy mission at a client site. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing databases, supporting development teams, and developing tools to meet specific needs. Your role will involve modernizing the infrastructure by leading the migration of critical databases to Oracle 26ai.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize production and non-production databases.
• Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams during critical incidents.
• Manage configuration evolution according to business needs.
• Define and implement a secure access strategy (IAM principles, roles, permissions, audit).
• Contribute to demonstrating NIS2 compliance within the data scope.
• Assist in designing robust and tested backup and restoration strategies.
• Regularly validate disaster recovery plans and ensure recovery in case of incidents.
• Document procedures and keep them updated.
• Communicate clearly about risks and solutions.

This role is crucial for the smooth operation of all business applications, including the monthly payment of approximately 2,800,000 pensions.

Technical and Generic Skills

• Familiarity with Linux.

This mission requires a physical presence of at least 2 days per week at the client site.

Language Requirements

Fluency in French or Dutch. Active knowledge of one of the two national languages and at least passive knowledge of the other is required.
