Church International Limited in Brussels is seeking a Senior Data Visualisation Specialist for a freelance contract (Sept 2026 – Feb 2027). Role is 50% onsite and 50% homeworking, fluent in Dutch, French & English.

You will turn complex data into clear dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers and analytics teams. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, prototyping dashboards, preparing data for visualization, maintaining solutions, and mentoring juniors in Agile

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Visualisation, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong experience with data governance, data warehouses & data marts.
• Proficient with Tableau, SAP BO, Excel/PowerPoint/Access; familiarity with Power BI and Python advised.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Visualisation Specialist to join the Data & Analytics environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior data professional who enjoys working at the intersection of data, technology and business, helping stakeholders turn complex information into clear, meaningful and actionable insights.

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers and other technical teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective dashboards and visualisations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Gathering and translating business requirements
• Creating prototypes and developing interactive dashboards
• Preparing and assembling data for visualisation
• Optimising, automating and maintaining reporting solutions
• Managing the full dashboard/report lifecycle
• Working with Data Engineers on sustainable and reusable data solutions
• Ensuring compliance with data governance, security and quality standards
• Promoting reporting and visualisation best practices
• Supporting and coaching junior Data Visualisation Specialists
• Working within Agile teams and contributing to data-driven decision making

We’re looking for someone with 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Visualisation, ideally gained within the banking or financial services sector.

You should have strong experience with:

• Tableau
• SAP BusinessObjects
• Excel, PowerPoint & Access
• SAS Enterprise Guide
• Data preparation and data storytelling
• Data Warehouses & Data Marts
• Data governance and security
• Agile project environments

Power BI and Python experience would be a strong advantage, as would certifications in Tableau, SAS, SAP or related technologies.
