Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is partnering with a prominent public health organization in Brussels to hire a Data Functional Analyst. You will bridge business requirements and technical specs to deliver impactful data products within an agile data office.

You will lead discussions with business experts, translate requirements into specs, and design data models with data architects. The role demands 5+ years in data functional analysis and strong SQL Server/Power BI skills; fluency in French and Dutch with

Qualifications

5+ years of data functional analysis and data warehouse modelling (Kimball).
3+ years of Microsoft on-premise stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI.
Strong data literacy and understanding of business processes.
Fluent in French and Dutch; good knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

Lead discussions with business experts to identify data needs and processes.
Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications for data flows and solutions.
Design conceptual and logical data models with data architects.
Develop functional designs for BI in line with governance and security leads.
Coordinate testing of data products and support user training.
