Job summary

MEERAB GROUP in Brussels seeks a Data Scientist / AI Engineer fluent in French or Dutch at B2 level to design, develop, and operate advanced AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.

You will deploy Azure environments, build data pipelines, and expose engine functionality via APIs, ensuring data quality and production readiness while aligning with the roadmap through 2028.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Data Scientist or AI Engineer on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience building data pipelines with Docker and CI/CD.
• Fluent in French or Dutch at B2 level (one language suffices).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve the M3D engine and its data pipelines, including ingestion, indexing, semantic search, fuzzy matching, scoring, and reranking.
• Deploy and activate Microsoft environments (Azure, Fabric, Foundry, Docker containers, Azure App Service) and implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security controls.
• Expose engine functionality through APIs and connectors for integration with business tools.
• Ensure data quality and validate engine performance through testing, relevance measurement, and production release preparation.
• Maintain documentation, transfer knowledge to Client teams, and support the engine’s roadmap through 2028.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve the M3D engine and its data pipelines, including ingestion, indexing, semantic search, fuzzy matching, scoring, and reranking.
• Deploy and activate Microsoft environments (Azure, Fabric, Foundry, Docker containers, Azure App Service) and implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security controls.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in building data pipelines, Docker containerization, and CI/CD implementation.
• Fluent in French or Dutch at B2 level (One Language is Enough).

Nice to have

• Experience with semantic search, fuzzy matching algorithms, and recommendation systems.
• Background in compliance, data sovereignty, and security within cloud environments.
