Lighthouse is hiring a Data Science Engineer in Belgium to join the Data Science Core team. You will own projects from an initial business question through to models and AI products that reach customers. You’ll work with Senior Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers, balancing hands-on work with strategic planning.

The role emphasizes internal consulting, collaboration with stakeholders, and continuous research into AI applications for hospitality. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the data science field.
• Experience using Python to develop machine learning or AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud orchestration.
• Experience with generative AI.
• Track record of taking ML models or AI products into production for customers.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders on ambiguous data science problems.
• Ability to work independently on data science projects.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Own data science projects from initial question through to models and AI products reaching customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide guidance on data science work.
• Build, evaluate, and ship ML/AI models for customer-facing use.
• Bring models from idea to production and maintain them over time.
• Research new AI developments and explore applicability to hospitality.
