Tekst is seeking a Medior-Senior Data Engineer to build our data platform from scratch, integrating product usage, GTM and finance data. You will own end-to-end architecture, including warehouse/lakehouse choices and governing data for trust and discoverability.

As the platform matures, you’ll enable self-serve access for Product, GTM and Finance, and lead data/research intake across the company. English fluency required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Medior-senior experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python; hands-on with a modern warehouse or lakehouse (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar).
• Transformation-orchestration tooling (dbt, Airflow, or similar).
• Think in terms of data lives, flows, and discoverability for non-engineers.
• Define metrics that multiple teams align on and adopt.

Responsabilités

• Zero-to-one build: design and build data platform from scratch, including warehouse/lakehouse, ingestion and transformation.
• Build and maintain pipelines from product database, event stream, HubSpot, and finance/contract systems.
• Own core metrics including product usage, customer value and ROI numbers.
• Enable teams to self-serve: provide access and tooling for Product, GTM and CS.
• Run intake for data/research questions and pick up those needing real analysis.
• Gain buy-in from stakeholders across data, product and engineering for shared definitions.
• Ensure testing, monitoring, GDPR compliance and cost control as the platform matures.
