Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Data Engineer for a fast-growing energy-tech organisation in Leuven. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, build data lakes and warehouses, and integrate data from APIs, databases, and IoT devices.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Spark. Hybrid work with Leuven base, offering career progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and modern data platform architectures.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience with energy, IoT, industrial, or time‑series data is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English.
