Simply Commerce Group is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing Data & Analytics team. The role focuses on building scalable ETL processes with Databricks, integrating data from multiple sources, and delivering Power BI reports and dashboards.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions while improving quality, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering and BI development.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Power BI or a comparable BI platform.
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL, data modelling and architecture.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing Data & Analytics team, working on the development of scalable data and reporting solutions.

The role will focus on building and optimising ETL processes using Databricks, integrating data from multiple source systems, designing effective data models and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions, while continuously improving data quality, performance and security.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Power BI, SQL and data warehousing is essential, with Python, notebooks, Kimball modelling and Agile ways of working considered advantageous.
