Data Wizards is seeking a Data Consultant to join our team of AI & data professionals. You’ll support the Data & Tooling team, build and adapt SAS pipelines, and deliver key OPC indicators.

You’ll balance ongoing production with new enhancements while collaborating with risk, compliance and business stakeholders. You should bring 2–6 years in data roles, experience in structured corporate settings, and a hybrid work approach.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of experience in data-related roles.
• Experience in structured corporate environments (banking is a strong plus).
• Hybrid profile combining operational delivery and improvement initiatives.
• Comfortable working in demanding and sometimes unstructured environments.

Responsabilités

• Support the Data & Tooling team within OPC (Operational Permanent Control).
• Produce and maintain existing data samples (execution and adaptation of SAS pipelines).
• Design and develop new data pipelines (identifying data sources and structuring datasets).
• Deliver reporting and control indicators related to OPC activities.
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and reliability in a control-driven environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and industrialization of data pipelines.
• Balance run activities (recurring production) and build initiatives (enhancements and structuring).
• Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and business teams.

As a Data Consultant your mission would typically include:

• Supporting the Data & Tooling team within OPC (Operational Permanent Control)

Job requirements

You’re a step closer to joining our team if you bring:

Background:

• 2 to 6 years of experience in data-related roles
• Experience in structured corporate environments (banking is a strong plus)
• Hybrid profile combining operational delivery and improvement initiatives

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with SAS (execution, reading, and adapting existing pipelines)
• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, autonomous data extraction and structuring)
• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dataset manipulation)
• Advanced PowerPoint (clear and structured communication for stakeholders)

Nice to have:

• Python (automation, data manipulation)
• Experience with data pipelines and legacy-to-modern transitions

Soft Skills:

• Resilience and adaptability in changing environments
• Ability to manage both repetitive tasks (BAU) and evolving topics
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including with demanding audiences
• High level of rigor and attention to detail (control context)
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Clear communication and professional posture
• Ability to explain complex topics in a structured and understandable way

Practical Info:

Languages: Dutch, English, and French (trilingual profile is a strong plus)
