Data Wizards in Belgium is seeking an AI Engineer to join our team of Wizards. You will collaborate with clients to define business and technical requirements for AI and data-driven solutions, design, develop, and deploy ML models, and work with Azure to optimize data processing and model performance.

With 3–4 years in consulting or ML engineering, you will translate business problems into AI-driven solutions, mentor junior colleagues, and present findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field (business or engineering).
• 3–4 years of experience in a consulting environment or AI/ML engineering role.
• Experience at the intersection of consulting, machine learning engineering, and data science.

• Ensure production-ready, scalable AI solutions with DevOps/MLOps practices.

We're on the lookout for an AI Engineer to join our team of Wizards!

As an AI Engineer, your mission would include:

• Collaborating with clients to define business and technical requirements for AI and data-driven solutions.
• Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions tailored to various industries.
• Working with stakeholders to identify and implement AI strategies that drive business value.
• Ensuring models are production-ready, scalable, and adhere to best DevOps/MLOps practices.
• Leveraging cloud environments, particularly Azure, to optimize data processing and AI model performance.
• Engaging with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, AI engineers, and consultants, to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of AI methodologies and contributing to internal innovations within the company.
• Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge across the organization.
• Attending client meetings and presenting findings, recommendations, and AI solutions in a clear and structured manner.

Background

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (such as business or engineering).
• 3-4 years of experience in a consulting environment or a related AI/ML engineering role.
• Experience working at the intersection of consulting, machine learning engineering, and data science.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques.
• Hands-on experience with NLP is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
• Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models into production and working with LLMs in a real-world setting.
• Knowledge of best practices in DevOps/MLOps.

Soft Skills

• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Practical Info

• Languages: Fluent in English. French or Dutch Native.
