Reboot Monkey in Zedelgem, BE is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities. You will handle hardware installations, cabling, racking, and migrations while coordinating with remote teams.

The position requires 2+ years in data centers or IT infrastructure, strong cabling and server hardware knowledge, and professional English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional communication in English.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) preferred.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems preferred.
• Familiarity with major colocation providers preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on raised floors.
• Own transportation and on-site work requirement.

Responsabilités

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
