Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Gent, Belgium team. You will provide on-site technical support at local data center facilities, performing hands-on maintenance and rapid response to incidents.

The role requires practical experience with data center infrastructure, server hardware, and cabling, plus strong English communication. You will work with on-site teams, support urgent requests, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling.
• Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centers.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 kg+ and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays for urgent requests.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site remote hands and smart hands support.
• Install and decommission server racks.
• Manage cross-connects and patch panels.
• Troubleshoot hardware and run diagnostics.
• Conduct visual inspections and inventory audits.
• Escort and coordinate access for client visits.
• Respond to emergencies and be on-call.
