Rhox is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for AML/KYC to turn business needs into data solutions, tests, reports and dashboards, bridging business stakeholders with technical teams. You work with SQL, BI, data vault concepts and data marts within financial security data domains.

You will lead end-to-end analysis from ideation through delivery, map data flows, define use cases, and support validation, testing and reporting with a strong focus on governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or data engineering.
• Hands-on AML/KYC and Financial Security data domains experience.
• Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and IT testing.
• Knowledge of big data, BI, reporting, dashboards, data vault, and data marts.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, and MVP mindset.
• Strong stakeholder, project and requirements management skills.
• Ability to bridge business and IT and understand workflows.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytical, structured, and strong communication skills.

A financial services organisation is strengthening data work across AML/KYC and Financial Security. As a Senior Data Analyst for AML/KYC, you turn business needs into data solutions, tests, reports, and dashboards, bridging business stakeholders with technical teams. The role combines SQL, BI, conceptual modelling, data vault, and data marts with hands‑on knowledge of Financial Security data domains.

The mission:

You lead business analysis from ideation through delivery and continuous improvement. You analyse existing data flows, user roles, usage patterns, and data issues, then define target solutions and practical use cases. The scope covers business case development, requirements co‑creation, workflow processes, data architecture input, and solution validation.

Working with Product Owners, architects, and subject matter experts, you maintain requirements traceability and support impact analysis. You translate business needs into conditions for product, performance, and UAT testing, review prototypes, support quality reviews, and help delivery through testing, change management, and reporting.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyse AML, KYC, and Financial Security data flows, usage, roles, and quality issues.
• Define target data solutions and use cases from business needs.

Your profile

Essential skills:

• At least four years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on expertise in AML, KYC, and Financial Security data domains.
• Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods, IT testing, and SQL querying.
• Understanding of big data, BI, reporting, dashboarding, data vault, and data marts.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, and MVP mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, and requirements management skills.
• Ability to bridge business and IT and understand workflow processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical and structured, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Experience with reporting solutions such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Ability to slice epics and features into actionable user stories.
• Hands‑on backlog refinement, dependency mapping, and story‑slicing techniques.
• Knowledge of banking activities, customer data, and compliance.
• Experience creating Agile roadmaps and prioritising backlogs, balancing stakeholder needs with team capacity.
• Experience with UAT testing, change management, business analysis, requirements traceability, and data architecture.
