Job summary

Zohorecruit is recruiting a Data Analyst in Belgium to turn complex datasets into actionable insights for insurance tech solutions. You will develop SAS models, create BI dashboards, and collaborate with product, underwriting, and engineering teams to drive data-driven decisions.

The role focuses on data quality, governance, and delivering clear presentations to stakeholders, with fluency in English and advantage for Dutch/French speakers.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in data analytics, ideally in insurance, financial services, or technology.
• Strong expertise in SAS for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Proven experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data management best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business and product decisions.
• Develop and maintain SAS models to drive insights on risk, pricing, and performance.
• Build interactive business intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports to make insights accessible across teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, underwriters, and engineers to design data-driven insurance solutions.
• Contribute to advanced analytics projects, including predictive modeling and automation initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
